This engagement didn’t last long!

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are ALREADY MARRIED.

The pair wed in a secret ceremony on Wednesday, according to LATINA magazine.

A “source” close to Cannon - probably his publicist - ratted the newlyweds out! The nuptials are said to have taken place on an island(Bahamas it’s rumored) and the small ceremony was “very impulsive,” according to the source.

Let’s hope it wasn’t legally binding!  Or let’s hope she got a good prenup!Some reports  say  there was no pre0nup!!  uuuggghhh say  it ain’t  so Mariah !!!

Carey’s close friend,  DaBrat, was one of a few people to attend the quickie wedding.

Mrs. Nick Cannon  is on the cover  of I-D magazine looking  crazy.. man she’s  got the number one CD out, got skinny and got married. Lordy .. check this cover out !!! Lucky  Nick Cannon !!!

Alicia Keys is looking for a new backup singer via herMyspace page. The winner will get the chance to perform with Keys on her As I Am  tour. Female hopefuls between the ages 21 and 30 with R-&-B and soul singing experience should submit a 30-second (or longer) video of themselves singing an original song a capella. Contestants must also have a valid passport and must be physically fit and able to dance. The deadline for submissions is May 5th, with a winner to be selected around May 15th.
